UPPSC BEO Exam on 16 August: Five key instructions every candidate should know

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is all set to conduct Block Education Officer (BEO) examination on August 16, 2020 at 52 examination centres. Commission issues important instructions to students to follow while appearing for the BEO examination on Sunday. From admit card instructions to proper safety measures taken by authorities, students are issued strict guidelines to follow at the examination centre. Commission has released admit cards for recruitment to the 309 posts of Block Education Officer examination at website uppsc.gov.in. Recently commission got the nod from Allahabad High Court to conduct BEO examination on Sunday, August 16.

Students appearing for the August 16, Block Education Officer (BEO) written examination are hereby issued the five key instructions they must read & follow.

1) Admit Card Instructions:

Students appearing for the UPPSC BEO examination on August 16, 2020 (Sunday), are issued instructions they must follow at the examination hall. Candidates must bring the exam hall ticket / admit card at their centre. What to bring & what not at the examination hall, students are hereby issued instructions. 2) Proper safety measures at exam centres:

Strict safety measures will be followed across all examination centres. UPPSC BEO examination will be organized in single shift  from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm and the number of students at examination hall will be limited, exam coordinator said. Social-distancing norms will be followed across all exam centres. A day before the examination, each centre will be sanitized properly, instructions notice reads.

At all entry points Thermal detector and scanner will be fixed. Use of Masks, Hand sanitizers are allowed. Sector Megistrates are appointed at examination centres to stop the irregularities in the examination.

3) No Travel restriction:

A total 5.28 Lakh candidates are appearing in the Block Education Officer examination. Examination will be conducted in 18 districts at 52 exam centres. UPPSC has clarified that students will not be hampered of any travel service due to partial lockdown imposed on weekends. Students are permitted intra-state travel on the basis of UPPSC BEO Admit card.

4) Reach 1 hour before Examination:

Students are asked to reach one hour before starting of the examination. Exam centres are marked in the admit cards. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is organizing Block Education Officer examination on August 16, 2020 across 52 exam centres. Students are asked to report one hour before the examination to avoid any kind of frisking and rush at exam centre. Block Education Officer (BEO) examination will start at 12:00 noon and will finish at 2:00 pm in afternoon.

5) Changes in Examination Centres:

Block Education Officer examination is scheduled on August 16, 2020 (Sunday). Commission on August 12 issues notice specifying changes in examination centre. One exam centre in Prayagraj district and two centres in Ghaziabad districts are changed. In each exam centre, the number of students allowed, is restricted to 480. Students participating in the BEO exam should check the alteration in exam centres. The details on UPPSC BEO examination centres can be obtained from wesbite uppsc.up.nic.in.
