The University of Lucknow is all set to organize UP B.Ed Joint Entrance exam 2020 on August 9 at examination centres allotted across the state. Uttar Pradesh B.Ed Entrance examination will be held with new guidelines and special instructions, in view of current situation due to pandemic. Based on a recent report, students are allowed travel permissions across districts, as B.Ed. Entrance admit cards with special instructions are issued.
After approval from state government authorities, Lucknow University confirms the travel permission allowed to students appearing for UP B.Ed Entrance Examination. The Entrance examination will be organized in two shifts on August 9, 2020 i.e (9.00 am- 12.00 noon) and (2.00 pm- 5.00 pm). Students are also asked to report one hour before the examination, at exam hall, an official instruction reads. 1) Admit Card Instructions:
Students appearing in the August 9, 2020 scheduled U.P B.Ed entrance examination, are issued instructions they must follow at the examination hall. Candidates must bring the exam hall ticket / admit card at the examination centre. Further details are available in the instructions column of admit card and also available at website lkouniv.ac.in. Earlier State government has announced partial Lockdown on weekends (8 & 9 August, 2020). However, Lucknow University officials have clarified that students will not be hampered of any travel service or other facility. Students are permitted travel on the basis of B.Ed JEE Admit card.
2) Proper safety measures at exam centres:
According to state Coordinator proper safety measures will be followed across all examination centres. UP B.Ed Entrance Examination will be organized in two shifts and the number of students at examination hall will be limited, coordinator Amita Bajpai has said in his message to students. Social-distancing norms will be followed across all exam centres. Every selected College for B.Ed Entrance exam 2020 has been allotted three examination centres. Each centre is issued Rs 10,000 fund for appointment of one personnel, specially to monitor sanitization and disinfection at the exam centre.
A day before the B.Ed entrance examination, each centre will be sanitized. At all entry points Thermal detector and scanner will be fixed. Use of Masks, Hand sanitizers are allowed. Separate / isolation room is prepared for students record high temperature, at the entry point. Students won’t be sent back in case their temperature records higher than the normal. Strict instructions are issued in row of safety of students, state coordinator says through special address to students. It is also clarified that after one shift of examination, whole exam building & centre would be sanitized.
3) Entrance Exam across 73 districts:
Lucknow University is organizing UP B.Ed Entrance examination on August 9, 2020 across 73 districts. Students are asked to report one hour before the BEd entrance examination and the detailed instructions are laid down in the admit card.
4) Examination in affiliated Colleges:
According to state coordinator B.Ed Entrance test 2020 will be organized across all 73 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The allotted colleges for Entrance exam are affiliated and recognized from the Universities, coordinator assures. It is also said that students are allotted nearby exam centres and specially girl students are given priority to appear in exam at nearby centre, coordinator says.
5) No Travel Restrictions:
UP B.Ed Entrance exam is scheduled on August 9, 2020 (Sunday) which faces partial lockdown imposed on the weekends in Uttar Prades. "The work is done so that students do not face any restriction in travel", coordinator says. Organizing authorities have permitted students to travel across the state with valid B.Ed Entrance admit card.
