Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) released a recruitment notification for filling up of tentatively 1098 posts of Polytechnic Lecturer in Tamil Nadu Educational Service. The board is now set to conduct the computer-based test for the candidates who have applied for TN TRB Polytechnic Lecturer vacancies, possibly in October 2021. The candidates who have applied for Lecturers (Engineering / Non-Engineering) in Government Polytechnic Colleges now can check the exam date and related announcements at trb.tn.gov.in.
According to the media reports, the Polytechnic Lecturer computer-based test shall likely be held on October 28, 29, & 30, 2021. However, the same is yet to be confirmed officially by the board. "The Date, Time and Centre for the Computer Based Examination will be indicated in the Hall Ticket. The Hall Ticket for the eligible candidates will be uploaded by the Teachers Recruitment Board on its website," a statement from the recruitment notification reads.

In the examination, the candidates have to answer a total of 150 multiple choice questions divided into 2 parts, Main Subject, and General Knowledge. The maximum marks in the exam could be 190. Candidates have to attempt all the questions in a duration of 3 hours. The syllabi for the subjects can be downloaded from the Teachers Recruitment Board official website trb.tn.nic.in.
