SSC CHSL 2019-20: Tier 1 Exam from 17 March, 41 Lakh to appear, Status & Admit Card live

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has prescribed the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2019-20 Tier-1 exam from 17 March 2020 onwards. As per updates near about 41 Lakh candidates from all zones to take part in SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam. CHSL Online Tier 1 exam will be held between 17 & 28 March 2020. As per anticipation around 41 lakh candidates shall appear in CHSL Tier 1 Exam across the country, Commission intimated through press notification.

Staff Selection Commission has released the status of the candidates on the SSC Region wise websites. Candidates accessing the Region wise website can access CHSL Admit Card 2020 / Status update on which the candidates can get the information of CHSL exam date, center & city.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam from 17 March

As per schedule SSC Commission to organize CHSL Tier 1 Exam from 17 March 2020 onwards. Update has specified CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2019-20 Admit Cards and status Region wise are live at official websites. Based on data there are 11,06,041 candidates have registered under the Central Zone & near about 41 Lakh candidates to appear in CHSL Tier 1 across the country.

In conversation with Central Region Regional Director Rahul Sachan, info provided on CHSL specified that SSC CHSL admit cards can be downloaded 4 days before online exam.

SSC CHSL Online Tier 1 computer based test will be organized in three shifts (Morning/ Afternoon & Evening shift). CHSL Exam duration will be 60 minute. Candidates have been advised to report at exam center prior to 90 minutes of commencement of the examination.

Note- Entrance doors will be closed 30 minutes before the exam starts, after which no candidate will get admission. CHSL Exam will be conducted in three shifts daily from 10 to 11 am, 1 to 2pm and 4 to 5 pm from 17 to 28 March 2020.

Staff Selection Commission has activated the link to view Region wise Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) admit cards and status to view exam city & centre. In March 1st Week SSC Commission released the Tier 1 e-admit card for selected regions where exam commencing from 17 March & activated the status for all regions. (Remaining Regions’ CHSL Tier 1 admit card would be updated 4 days before exam.

SSC CHSL Exam Instructions

Candidates will have to bring CHSL 2019-20 Tier 1 admit card and a photo identity card.

It is mandatory to mark the date of birth with name, photo, father's name etc. on the identity card.

The date of birth given on the identity card should match the date of birth mentioned on the admit card. If the date of birth is not mentioned on the identity card or is different from the admit card, then an additional identity card will have to be shown specifying date of birth corresponds to the CHSL admit card.
