SSC CHSL Exam from 20 April Postponed Due to COVID, Fresh Dates Soon

Amid high demands of students, SSC on Monday postponed the CHSL 2020 tier 1 exam (remaining). Students launching a social media campaign protested against conducting CHSL exam amid a huge spike in COVID-19 cases.

SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 exam that was being held from 12th April, has been postponed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases all across the country. Staff Selection Commission yesterday releasing an official notice at ssc.nic.in made the announcement regarding postponement of exam.

The decision is taken due to the surge in COVID-19 cases all across the country. According to the notice, CHSL 10+2 Level Examination scheduled from 20 April onwards, is only postponed.

"Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2020 with effect from 20-04-2021. Fresh dates for the balance candidates of the said examination will be intimated in due course", the official notice of SSC reads.

Fresh dates of examination are expected to be announced shortly at the official website of the Commission i.e ssc.nic.in.
