RRB NTPC Official Exam Notice Out, 23 lakh to appear in Phase-1 beginning from December 28

Railway Recruitment Boards have released official notice dated 17 December, regarding NTPC Stage 1 online exam 2020. RRBs confirm the beginning of Phase 1 Computer-based exam from 28 December. A total 23 lakh candidates to appear in Phase 1 from 28 Dec 2020 to 13 Jan 2021.

Railway Recruitment Boards on Thursday release an official notice on exam schedule for CBT-1 for NTPC, Graduate and Undergraduate posts. According to the notice the RRB NTPC 1st Stage CBT will be held in multiple phases in order to ensure adherence to all the Covid-19 guidelines for the large number of eligible candidates (approx 1.25 crores).

Accordingly the first phase of the NTPC exam is scheduled for 23 lakh candidates approx, to be held from 28 December 2020 to 13 January 2021 in various cities all over the country, notice reads. RRB Chennai being a nodal agency hints-out on the conducting of RRB NTPC exam in multiple phases.

For the Candidates who are scheduled in a particular phase:

Based on the intimation, the first phase of NTPC exam is proposed to be conducted for 23 Lakh applicants and the remaining eligible candidates will be scheduled in subsequent phases and will be intimated accordingly.

The Link for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on all RRB websites 10 days prior to start of their exam. Whereas, downloading of e-Call letters will start 4 days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and date intimation link, notice reads.

Information to the Candidate who is not scheduled in that Phase: On accessing the LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date, message showing “Dear Candidate, You are not scheduled in the present phase. Please wait for intimation from RRBs" will be displayed.

In case of Forgotton Password: If a candiate forgets his/ her Password he/ she can retreive by following the instructions to be given at websites of all the RRBs. Registration Number link will be made available on all the RRB official websites to assist candidates (who forgot their Application Registration Number) in retrieving their Application registration number.

Note- Indian Railways ask candidates to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process.
