RRB NTPC Exam Date & City to be released before CBT 1 Admit Card, Board

Indian Railways, RRB Board would intimate on NTPC Exam city and date of Online CBT 1 examination at official website. Before release of Non-Technical Popular Category posts CBT 1 online admit cards, board will release exam city and exam schedule at official websites, as mentioned in CEN 1/2019 Recruitment advertisement. As the process of selection for Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) has completed for Railway NTPC recruitment, the RRB Chennai Board is marking over the examination centres for Online Computer Based Test.

According to board official Railways has ramped-up process for holding examination for NTPC 35,208 posts. Likely in next few months Indian Railways to release exam guidelines for more than 1.5 Crore applicants who applied for CEN 1/2019 NTPC recruitment 2019 exam. As shortly the proceedings for Online Examination finish, RRB Chennai would intimate over Exam schedule, exam city by enabling online link to view at RRB websites.

As per official advertisement dates for NTPC CBT and other stages of recruitment process shall be intimated from time to time through the websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). It has been clarified by Indian Railways through official notice that Center/ City allocation for CBTs will be depend upon technical and logistical feasibility.

Candidates may have to travel to other Cities/States for attending CBTs. Request for change of exam centre shall not be allowed under any circumstances, as RRB recruitment guidelines laid down.

Link for exam city and exam dates for NTPC online computer-based exam will be enabled at RRB Board official websites. Likely 10 days in advance of examination direct link shall be enabled. However official notice in this regard is yet to be made officially. The CBT Centre, date and shift timing will be indicated through NTPC 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) e-call letter.

Travel Authority to SC / ST / PWD applicants- Candidates will have to download the City and Date Intimations, e-Call Letters and Travel Authority (wherever applicable) from the links provided on the official websites of RRBs. Prior to examination admit cards, Board would release Exam city and schedule through notice at rrbchennai.gov.in. Candidates belonging to Reserved categories (SC/ ST/ PWD) shall be issued travel authority e-passes or Travel permission cards in advance.

Note- NTPC Admit Card will be available after official update comes from Board. Applicants should keep visiting the board website.

SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-Call letter and upload details on their registered mobile number and email ID. No call letter will be sent by post. Candidates can also check updates on CEN 1/2019 NTPC admit card / exam date & city from rrbcdg.gov.in / indianrailways.gov.in & RRB Chennai website.
