Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on Monday, May 31 releasing an important notice regarding Centralized Employment Notifications (CENs), No. 01/2019, decided to hold exam due to various restrictions imposed due to the Coronavirus. Further schedule of examination will be released in due course, says important notice.
RRBs have released recruitment notices- CEN No. 01/2019, 03/2019 and RRC 01/2019, for various categories. RRBs resumed the recruitment process and started online computer-based test for Stage 1 for CEN 01/2019 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) from 28 December, 2020 after easing of restrictions imposed on account of COVID-19 and is being held in phases.
RRBs have conducted Sixth phase exam of NTPC stage 1 exam for over 2 crore candidates. The next or seventh phase exam dates are yet to be proposed by the Board. In view of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and restrictions imposed by various states, Railway Recruitment Board has decided to put an hold on exam.
"Further scheduling of CBT has been held up because of various restrictions imposed by the affected states due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic once again," the official notice reads.

Candidates are informed that further scheduling of examinations will be advised in due course once the restrictions imposed by various states are eased.
