Selection to the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Post consists of 02 Stage Computer Based Tests (CBTs) followed by Document Verification for the Posts notified by the Railway Recruitment Board.

Railways to conduct the First Stage Computer Based Test for NTPC 35,208 posts with 90 Minutes Examination Duration consists of 03 Parts, i.e., 01) General Awareness (40 Objective Type MCQs), 02) Mathematics (30 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type), and 03) General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type), Total 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type.
The 1st Stage Computer Based Test comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 100 Marks involves Negative Marking at 0.33% for each Incorrect Response in the First Computer Based Test.
