RRB NTPC Application Status 2020: Board to open status for applications from 21 to 30 September

RRB Chennai releasing the NTPC Application Status notice asks students to view their CEN 1/2019 Non-Technical Popular Categories posts' status of application from 21- 30 Sept. Candidates who have applied for Railway RRB Notice can check their Application status logging to the rrbcgd.gov.in/ respective Board websites.

Railway Recruitment Boad (RRB), Chandigarh has released a notice in respect to Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate and Undergraduate. RRB Chandigarh on Sept 16, 2020 (Wednesday) releases the notice for the "Application Status" for RRB NTPC CEN 1/2019 at website rrbcdg.gov.in. In view of the Online Computer Based Examination starting from 15, December, RRBs have decided to open the NTPC Application status window from 21 to 30 September 2020.

RRB Chandigarh Application status notice dated 16 Sept, 2020 highlights the RRB NTPC Application status for the 1.2 Crore applicants who have applied for the Centralized Advertisement Number 01/2019 for 35,277 posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate & Undergraduate) posts. Board asks applicants to view their application status from respective RRB Board website.

Notice says that Railway Recruitment Boards invited the applications under CEN 01/2019, issued on 28.02.2019, for various posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC)- Graduate and Under-graduate. The scrutiny of applications has been completed and candidates can view the status of their applications under- (i) Provisionally Eligible and (ii) Rejected (along with reasons for rejection). RRB NTPC application status can be viewed through the LINK provided on the websites of respective RRBs. SMS and E-mail will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID provided in his/ her application whose application is rejected. According to reports a total 4 lakh application have been rejected by the RRBs for various reasons, notice adds.

Status of applications for RRB NTPC CEN 1/2019 can be viewed by entering the Application Registration Number and Date of Birth of the candidates etc. The link will be active from 21 Sept to 30 Sept 2020. Every care has been taken in preparing the list of provisionally eligible candidates, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical/ printing mistake. RRB regrets inability to entertain any correspondence from ineligible candidates.

Candidature of all the eligible candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/ deficiency furnished by them in their application or any malpractice on the part of the candidate coming to the notice of RRB at any stage of the recruitment process, official notice reads.

Important: RRB Chandigarh asks students to beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates. Board asks candidates to refer only to the official website of rrbcgd.gov.in / respective RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process.

In response to the RRB NTPC, Group D, MI examination dates, Indian Railways has decided to hold Online Computer Based Examination (CBT) from 15 Decemebr 2020. It is expected that RRB NTPC CBT 1 to commence from 15/12/2020 onwards, however, a detailed schedule for RRB NTPC exam dates is yet to be released.

E-Admit Cards for the NTPC Stage 1 Computer Based Test to be out at websites official to the respective Railway Recruitment Boards, well in advance of the Examination. Only candidates, successfully registered for the RRB CEN 1/2019 NTPC (Graduate / Undergraduate) 35,277 vacancies (revised), will be able to download their Call Letter.
