The Office of Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Chennai, on the 18th September issues Revised E-Tender. in respect of the Work citing amended Approximate Cost of Work in the context of Recruitment under CEN 01-2019 Recruitment Notification, aimed at assignIng the Examination Conducting Agency (ECA) the Task of  Engaging Examination Conducting Agency (ECA) for conducting Multiple Stages of the Computer Based Test (First Stage, Second Stage), Computer Based Aptitude / Typewriting / Skill Tests, Document Verification and all other related the Services in connection with the Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No.01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) all over India.

Among various additions in the E-Tender (with one foremost significant Corrigendum) to the above Tender did and uploaded on IREPS Website underlined the Revised Estimated / Approximate Cost of the assigning the Examination Conducting Agency as mentioned in the subsequent Lines. The E-Tender re-issued on the 17th September 2020 is valued at Approximate Cost of Work - Rs. 375,93,87,240/- (exclusive of GST) supersedes the E-Tender for Rs. 353.98 Crore (Exclusive of GST), floated by the Office of the Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Bhopal acting for and on behalf of President of India invited Open E-tender in Two Packet System in respect conducting the NTPC (Graduate, Undergraduate) Examination Task.

The Railway Recruitment Boards Examination Conducting Agency shall conduct countrywide the First Stage Computer Based Test for Recruitment to the Posts, viz., Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, Goods Guard, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Senior Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk and Trains Clerk respectively as per the Dates declared by the Railway Recruitment Boards Zone-wise.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), (the Ministry of India Railways, Government of India) notified Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) (Graduate, Under-Graduate) Recruitment Examination 2019, i.e., 1st Phase Computer Based Test for vide Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) Notification Central Employment Notification (CEN) 01-2019 shall be held commencing the 15th of December 2020.  The RRBs 1st Stage CBT with 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective carrying Equivalent 100 Marks and Penalty of 1/3rd in Negative Marking involved with 90 Minutes' Examination Span shall be held countrywide according to the Government of India prescribed novel CoViD -19 Guidelines necessitating Social Distanced Seating in the Examination Hall. The Examination Conducting Agency appointed by the Ministry of the Indian Railways shall host the 1st Stage Computer Based Test in coordination with the Zone-wise Railway Recruitment Boards across the country.

Forthcoming Updates including Issuance of the CEN 01/2019 NPTC (Graduate & Undergraduate) Hall Tickets / Admit Cards, NPTC (Graduate & Undergraduate) Schedule, Announcement of the Results of First Stage / Second Stage of NTPC (Graduate and UG) Computer Based Tests 2019 followed by Skill Test  / Document Verification, etc., shall be uploaded on the Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Website
