AP Inter Exams 2021 for 1st and 2nd year students are scheduled to begin from next week. The decision to hold board exams amid the Covid-19 pandemic has started facing backlash after the Andhra Pradesh High Court questioned the state government's decision. High Court on Friday asked the state government to reconsider its decision on AP Inter level 1 and 2 exams that are scheduled in May 2021.
AP BIE has scheduled to begin the AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd Year Exams 2021 from May 5, 2021 onwards. Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh has also released guidelines following which the board exams will be conducted. In view of the safety of students the board has released safety guidelines from Covid-19. However, against the government's decision petitions have been filed in the High Court and decision on the same is likely to be taken in next hearing on May 3.
Andhra Pradesh Government has also released the Hall Ticket of students appearing in Intermediate exams 2021 on its website. The announcement came when country is facing the second wave of Coronavirus under which the country is reporting highest number of cases of Covid19, anywhere.
On Saturday, India reported more than 4 lakh cases of Covid19 in the last twenty-four hours. Andhra Pradesh itself recorded 14,669 cases of Coronavirus in last 24 hours and 771 people lost their lives in the state.
Several states governments and boards have also postponed the board exams 2021 due to Coronavirus. CBSE has also differed the class 12 exams 2021 and exams for Class 10 has been cancelled by the Central Board. Here is the list stating state-wise board exam status.
