National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed JEE Main 2020 April exam and likely to conduct in May 2020, HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted. HRD Union Minister Pokhriyal on Tuesday said NTA JEE Main exam which was earlier scheduled in April month is postponed due to nationwide lockdown and Coronavirus pandemic. In his tweet attached Public Notice from NTA conveyed JEE main exam likely to conduct in May end. Citing Public Notice NTA intimated JEE (Main) April 2020 Scheduled on 5, 7, 9 & 11th April 2020 is proposed to be held in last week of May 2020.
NTA also specified that final date of JEE Main 2020 is yet to be decided. As per anticipation conducting Agency after assessing the situation and HRD Ministry's approval likely to conduct in last week of May 2020. On other hand MHRD has also postponed NTA NEET exam 2020 for MBBS & BDS. Official dates for NTA exams seem to be decided after valuation of situation after 14 April.

As per notice, NTA Agency has postponed JEE Main April 2020 Examinations to May last week. Students looking for JEE main new date 2020 are officially conveyed through Public Notice. HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted on March 31, that due to Coronavirus spread in India NTA has postponed JEE Main examination April 2020 to last week of May 2020.

Joint Entrance Exam for Engineering April 2020 was scheduled earlier in April 2nd-3rd weeks. Further due to Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown nationwide announced by Prime Minister, on HRD Ministry guidelines NTA postponed JEE Main, NTA NEET UG and several other exams.
Earlier JEE Main April 2020 exam admit cards were decided to release on 29 March. In view of lockdown in Country NTA released the postpone notice.
