National Recruitment Agency (NRA) evolved from Budget 2020, to conduct Railway, SSC & other Government Non-Gazetted posts' exam in 2020. SSC and Railway Non-Gazetted posts exams to be conducted by NRA Agency through a Common Eligibility Test (CET) as proposed in Union Budget 2020. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1, in Parliament delivered her budgetary speech and laid down the setting of National Recruitment Agency. NRA to conduct Common Eligibility Test for Railway, SSC & other departmental Non-Gazetted posts Exam.
To overcome burden from a youth of taking many different exams for different departmental Non-Gazetted posts, Central Government is introducing National Recruitment Agency NRA. Appointments on Non-Gazetted posts will now be made through an online Common Eligibility Test CET taken by the NRA Agency. On the theme of NTA (National Testing Agency) NRA to be set up by Central Government for Non-Gazetted posts.
Railway RRB & SSC Non-Gazetted posts Exams 2020 to be conducted by NRA as proposal laid down by Finance Minister in Budgetary speech. Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament on Feb 1, proposed to set up a National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to conduct Common Eligibility Test for recruitment of candidates on Non-Gazetted posts including SSC and Railway RRB/ RRC exams.
At present, candidates had only left with one option to appear for multiple government examinations for different Non-Gazetted posts. Different exams were being conducted by multiple agencies at different points of time for Non-Gazetted posts in departments. As per new plan Railway, SSC Non-Gazetted posts exam to be conducted by NRA Agency. It has been proposed by Government to set up National Recruitment Agency (NRA) as an independent, professional, specialist organization to conduct Common Eligibility Test (Test) for recruitment to Non-Gazetted posts. In concerned districts (particularly in the aspirational districts) a common test centre would be set up, Finance Minister added in her Budget speech.
National Recruitment Agency NRA is being set up to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Non-Gazetted posts in various departments/ ministries. NRA CET 2020 likely to be computer-based online test.
CET Test is being planned to be conducted in each aspirational district. On 1st February, FM Sitharaman laid down the proposal of setting up National Recruitment Agency NRA for CET.
