Ongoing Farmers' Protest protesting the Union Government passed Agricultural Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020 in September 2020 for the benefit of the Farmers in the country has forced the Delhi University Colleges to shut down the and cancel the Examinations. The Farmers Protesting involving Farmers Protest Supporter hundreds of Unions and Irrelevant Opposition Political Party Congress, which witnessed violence engineered due to Stone pelting by the farmers at the Police Forces has compelled the Colleges Authorities to cancel the University Exams at the last minute leaving them with no other options than shutting down the Colleges resulting in dumping the decision to conduct the University Examination.
The Farmers led violent protest against the Central Government passed Agriculture Bill due to ignorance and unawareness about the Bill has baulked the means of transportation for the students to travel back onward to Colleges and down home. Many Colleges in Delhi-NCR have cancelled their Examinations due to the Farmers staging 'Delhi Chalo' Protest March by farmers from Haryana and Punjab States. Delhi University College Administration shall declare Re-Examination Dates for the students once the situation returns to normalcy.
Heavy Security has also been deployed at the Delhi-Gurugram Highway, Rohtak-Jhajjar Border and Delhi-Jammu Highway near Karna Lake in Karnal due to continuing protests by the farmers. Farmers' Delhi Chalo Protest compelled Haryana State Government to shut down Bahadurgarh Metro Station. The Farmers are demanding revoking the Agriculture Bill due to lack of information about the Farmers' Agriculture Bill passed by the Union Government of India.
