Maharashtra SET 2020 Exam date announced, State Eligibility test to be held on 27 December

Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) 2020 has been rescheduled for the 27th Date of December 2020 (earlier scheduled for 28th June 2020, but delayed due to global pandemic CoViD-19). The Registrar & Member Secretary, Savitribai Phule University, the State Nodal Agency to host MH-SET for Maharashtra and Goa would conduct Maharashtra SET toward Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

Maharashtra SET 2020:  The Office of Registrar & Member Secretary (State Eligibility Test) announced the Date for rescheduling for the 27th Date of December 2020 (27.12.2020), Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Maharashtra and Goa States. Maharashtra SET 2020 earlier scheduled to be held on the 28th Date of June 2020, which was put on hold due to global pandemic CoViD-19, hence, stood postponed.

MH SET 2020 Admit Card: Savitribai Phule University will issue the Candidates MH SET-2020 Admit Cards. Maha-SET 2020 Admit Card downloaded by the Candidates will bear the instructions in respect of Maharashtra SET 2020 including the Examination CenterS, Venue and the Time for Reporting at the Examination Center.  The Candidates may download their respective MH SET 2020 Admit Cards by logging into Savitribai Phule University MH SET (erstwhile University of Pune) Website. The Registrar and Member Secretary, Maharashtra State Eligibility Test, will transmit Alerts via Cellphone SMS.

Maharashtra SET 2020 CoViD-19 SOPs: Maharashtra State Nodal Agency for State Eligibility Test for Maharashtra & Goa shall host MH SET 2020 in compliance with the Union Government (MHA) released Key CoViD-19 Guidelines with the Standard Operating Procedures involved therein. The Candidates must wear Face Mask / Face Shield with Minimum 50 Ml Disinfectant Hand-Sanitizers.  The Candidates must carry with them Self-Declared Asymptomatic CoViD-19 Letter. The Candidates having CoViD-19 symptom(s) would be directed into the Isolation Lab.

All the Candidates would be offered 03-Ply Face Mask. Adequate arrangements would be in place for smooth conduct of MH SET 2020. There shall be Seat Arrangement with Proper Equi-distance in the Examination Hall.      

Maha SET 2020: Savitribai Phule University would host Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (Maha SET) 2020 adhering to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued CoVid-19 Standard Operating Procedures. The OMR Based Maharashtra State Eligibility Test shall be held in Social Distance Mode. MH State Eligibility Test 2020 consists of 02 Papers.  Maha SET Paper - I comprising 50 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions carries Total 100 Marks. Maha SET Paper-II comprising 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions carries Total 200 Marks.  

Maharashtra SET Paper - I is based on General nature, which is intended to assess the Teaching / Research Aptitude of the Candidates. MH SET Paper - 1 has been primarily designed to test the Candidates' Reasoning Ability, Comprehension, Divergent Thinking and General Awareness. Maha SET Paper-I comprises Fifty (50) Objective-Type compulsory Multiple Choice Questions with Each Correct Response fetching Two (02) Marks. There is No Negative Marking for Wrong Answers. 

Maha SET Paper-II comprises One Hundred (100) Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type (All Compulsory), on the Related / Opted Subject (except Mathematical Science) based on the Subject opted for by the Candidates. Every Right Answer for the MCQs shall be awarded Two (02) Marks with No Penalty for Incorrect Responses. The 2nd Paper shall have the Multiple Choice Questions  based on the Candidates' chosen Subjects; viz., Life Science, Chemical Science, Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences.
