IIT Delhi has conducted JEE Advanced 2020 examination on Sept 27, 2020 in online mode. As per students' reactions and feedback recieved on JEE Advanced Paper 1 students find overall paper moderate to difficult level. Students came out after the online examination named JEE Advanced 2020 Physics paper lengthy, Maths relatively difficult to previous year. Majority of students named the Sept 27, Paper 1 specially mathematics a bit lengthy. A total 3 hours time duration online exam consisting 54 questions in total was held in Shift 1. JEE Advanced paper 1 consisting of Physics, Chemsistry and Mathematics sections was organized in 222 cities across more than one thousand centres. A total 1.6 lakh candidates had registered for the JEE Advanced 2020 online Paper 1 & 2 examination.
JEE Advanced 2020 Sept 27, paper 1 has been conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. Around 1.6 lakh students have registered to appear for the examination. A total 54 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics were asked in the Paper 1, each section has maximum 66 marks.
In Physics questions were asked from the Class 11 and 12th and a bit lengthy from chapters including Rotation, Work Power & Energy, Thermodynamics, Magnetism, Gravitation, Electromagnetic Induction. In JEE Advanced 2020 Paper 1 Physics a few questions were of difficult level. Almost all questions were from the Class 11 and 12th syllabus, though a little calculative.
In Mathematics about 6 questions were asked from Calculus alone, there were questions from Continuity, Applications of Derivatives, Integration, Probability, 3D Geometry and Differentiation. Mathematics Paper was partially calculative and difficult. Questions from Algebra and calculus portions were comparatively higher to the previous year.
In Chemistry several questions were easy from Organic Chemistry over Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, The Number of questions remained same to the previous years. Questions asked from Physical chemistry were more in percentage in compared to Organic, Inorganic chemistry.
JEE Advance Students' Reactions:
Overall JEE Advanced 27 September paper was easier than last year, however, Physics section was a bit lengthy, Questions asked in Chemistry were balanced and students faced difficulties in a few questions asked in the Mathematics.
