IIM-CAT 2020: The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) shall host Shift-wise the IIM-Common Admission Test-2020 on the 29th Date of November 2020 (03 Shifts) for Admission into the First Year of 01) Post Graduate Programs in Management (PGPM) and 02) Fellowship Programs in Management (Doctoral) offered in the Participating Indian Institutes of Management countrywide. The IIM-CAT 2020 consists of 03 Test Sections for Maximum 300 Marks as detailed in the subsequent Lines.
The IIM-CAT-2020 scheduled for 29th Date of November 2020 shall be held at 430 Test Centres spread over159 Cities in India. According to the Indian Institute of Management Data, close to 2.28 Lac Candidates registered successfully for the IIM-Common Admission Test 2020. 96.15 Percent of Total CAT 2020 Applicants have been allocated the Test Centers in their first preferred City. The IIM-CAT 2020 spans 02-Hours' Duration Shift-wise.

The IIM-CAT 2020 to be administered in Socially\-Distanced Computer-Based Test Format / Mode, consisting of 03 Test Sections; viz., Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) (68 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions with 34 MCQs each in both Sections, and Section III: Quantitative Ability (QA) having 32 Non-Objective MCQs). Each MCQ with Correct Response fetches 03 Marks as mentioned in the IIM-CAT Information Bulletin available here in the IIMA Website.
In view of different time slots of IIM-CAT 2020, the candidates have been directed to report their respective IIM-CAT Examination Centre at 07:00 Hours (for the First Session), at 11:00 Hours (for the Second Session) and 03:00 PM (for the Third Session) respectively. The Indian Institute of Management shall conduct the IIM-Common Admission Test - 2020 on November 29, 2020 in Three Sessions / Shifts on (Time Slot-wise): a) Morning Hours - 8:30 AM up to 10:30 AM) b) Afternoon Session - 12:30 PM - 02:30 PM and 03) Evening Shift - 04:30 PM - 06:30 PM, respectively.
Those, who are likely to appear in the IIM-Common Admission Test - 2020 to be held in the National Capital Territory Delhi, Haryana and Punjab States must ensure that they report at the Allotted Examination Centers in Safe-Mode preferably in Family / Acquainted Private Vehicles in view of the Farmers' Protest at Delhi-Haryana and Punjab-Haryana Borders Borders. Such Candidates must avoid Heavily overcrowded areas.
