Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) releasing an official notice on Wednesday said that it will hold Common Entrance Test for Gram Sachiv, Patwari and Canal Patwari posts. The decision is taken after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said through a press conference that to reduce the burden from the shoulders of students and the Commission, HSSC will start conducting Common Entrance Test (CET) for Group C and D posts advertised after 1 January 2021 in the Haryana state.
The Commission has also decided to re-open the facility to submit application forms for all three posts i.e Patwari, Canal Patwari and Gram Sachiv, from March 8, 2021, onwards. The last date to submit the online application form will be 22nd March 2021 till 23:59 PM. The last date for deposit of fee is also extended up to 25th March 2021 till 5:00 P.M.
Commission had canceled the Gram Sachiv examination held on 9 & 10 January 2021 after the paper was reportedly leaked. A month after scrapping the Gram Sachiv examination, the Commission decides to re-open the application forms from 8 to 22 March 2021.
"The commission will conduct the common written exam of Gram Sachiv, Patwari, and Canal Patwari posts and the preference from the candidates for these posts will be taken online from candidates who will be shortlisted for scrutiny of documents after the declaration of result of the common written exam", an official notice of Haryana Staff Selection Commission reads.
However, the examination date of the Common Entrance test is yet to be decided by the Commission.
