Addressing all the students and other stakeholders regarding board exams, Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Friday made an announcement regarding the CBSE improvement exams 2021. In his message, the Minister said that students who do not satisfied with the CBSE result based on assessment can appear for improvement exams to be held in August 2021.
Commemorating the efforts made by the authorities in the fight against the second wave of COVID-19, Union Minister also thanked Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the decision to cancel board exams for Class 12th amid pandemic.
While speaking on the issues related to class 12 board assessment formula, the Minister said that the students who dissatisfy with the result prepared on the basis of assessment or formula prepared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will stand a chance to appear for the exams later. "Improvement exams for the same shall be held in August", the Minister added.

Meantime, students were seeking several reliefs from the Education Minister including the cancellation of the CBSE Private exams, exam dates for NEET-UG, JEE Main, among others. However, no official statement regarding the private exams has been made by the Minister.
