Delhi Technological University (DTU) has cancelled its semester examinations 2020. The decision is taken in view of Delhi Government’s order to cancel the examinations for the safety of students from Covid19. DTU Examination branch on July 14, 2020 issued notice on scrapping all semesters examinations including of Final semesters. Earlier DTU had organized Online examinations for the final semester courses. Examinations of remaining semesters and Ph.D were scheduled in third week of July 2020.
Releasing the cancellation notice, DTU says “Term end examinations of even semester 2019-20 for intermediate semesters for all programme including Ph.D Couse work and all semesters of Ex-Students are cancelled.
Controller of Examination Delhi Technological University released on July 14, 2020 the notice scrapping all examinations of intermediate semesters for all programmes including Ph.D. work. The decision is taken in view of recent announcements / directions by the Govt of NCT of Delhi to cancel all semesters examinations, said DTU Controller of Examinations.
Earlier Delhi State Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Monday to cancel all semester/ year examinations among Delhi State Universities. The announcement was made in reviewing the current non-conducive situation of holding final year/ term exams.
Assessment Criteria Soon:
According to notice released by DTU, guidelines and criteria for assessment of various courses pertaining to the Intermediate semesters of all programmes will be notified in due course. Students are advised to keep in contact with the website portal of the Delhi Technological University dtu.ac.in.
