The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has said that it will soon conduct an examination for the 5034 Teachers posts in the Delhi Government and aided schools. The examination will be conducted for the recruitment of TGT, PGT, Physical Education Teachers, Domestic Science Teacher, Librarian, Music Teacher, and others advertised. In addition to that a fresh recruitment exam for Special Teachers against 1126 posts to begin shortly as soon the board receives revert from the South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The recruitment process for 5034 posts of Teachers (TGT, PGT, Special Education, Music/Drawing, and Librarian) began last year. The DSSSB board advertised the recruitment notification3358 posts against Advt No 04/2020. The board was eyeing to conduct examination for the posts of Teachers in April-May 2020 but, the schedule was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Last year online applications were invited from 24 January 2020 to 23 February 2020 against Advertisement No.04/20. The notification was released for the recruitment of 3358 posts of PGT (Post Graduate Teacher), TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher), Physical Education Teacher, Domestic Science Teacher, Music Teacher, Drawing Teacher, and Librarian under the department of Directorate of Education of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Approximately 10 lakh applications have been received by the candidates.
According to the latest press release, Delhi Subordinate Board has told Delhi High Court that it has received a nod from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority to conduct the examination. The DSSSB board has ramped-up its services to conduct the 5034 Teachers posts' examination soon.
The board has asked South Delhi Municipal Corporation to sent a reply on fresh recruitment on 1126 Special Educator (Special Teachers) posts that are to be filled through a fresh Recruitment. As soon the DSSSB board receives a revert it will soon commence the exam proceedings and will notify the same at https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
In addition, it has been said that the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board asked Delhi High Court to allot time till December month to complete the recruitment process. However, the board has expressed its dissatisfaction over the time period that the board has saught.
