Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) has timely released the instructions to the candidates appearing for the Computer Based Test (CBT) or online exams. The candidates appearing in the DSSSB examination are hereby facilitated the required dress code adopted by the board for online exams. They are also asked to go through the items that are allowed to carry at the examination centre and prohibited items banned inside the exam centre.
According to the given instructions, candidates are asked to follow the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) on preventive measures while appearing in the DSSSB Exam. It is in view to contain the spread of COVID-19 and safe conduct of exam.
"The candidates have to maintain a social distancing of at least 6 feet, as far as possible. They have to keep wearing their face cover/ mask during the examination and it is mandatory," an official notice from the board reads.

Prohibited Items for Computer Based Test:
The candidates are not allowed to carry any of the following items inside the exam centre under any circumstances. They will be subject to compulsory frisking before entering the exam centre with highly sensitive metal detectors.
Among the prohibited items- Any stationery item like textual material, bit of papers, geometry, pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen scale, writing pad, pen drive, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen, scanner, etc.
Any communication device including Mobile phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphones, Pager, Health Band, etc, are also prohibited. In addition to this, items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, watch, wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, etc. are also among not allowed items.
Any metallic item, eatable item opened/packed, water bottle etc, are prohibited. No arrangements will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/ items belonging to the candidates including bags.
In case of any candidate is found in possession of any of the items prohibited items inside the centre will be considered as use of unfair means. Action against such candidates will be taken in accordance with the relevant provisions.
DSSSB Dress Code:
The candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code while appearing for DSSSB Exam.
(a) Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower, etc. with Salwar / Trouser. Light t-shirts and track pants are allowed.
(b) Slippers, sandals with low heels. Shoes are not allowed inside the examination hall.
