CUCAT Common Admission Test 2021: Students who wish to get admission for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, PHD in Marine Engineering at KMSME in CUSAT can register for CAT 2021. The last date for online registration has been extended to 15th April 2021. The candidates who wish admissions for programmes other than Ph.D/ All Diploma Courses in CUSAT also can apply for CAT through the CUCAT CAT 2021 portal. Applications in any other method will not be accepted.
Students who wish to get admission for B.Tech Marine Engineering at KMSME in CUSAT should register for CAT 2021, even though the admission will be based on the rank scored in Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU).
Candidates with a valid KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM)Score can apply for MBA programmes. These candidates will be ranked on the basis of the KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM) Score, Group Discussion and Interview. For M.Tech programmes, preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE score in the respective subject. In the absence of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates without a GATE score will be admitted on the basis of their performance in the Department Admission Test (DAT) to be conducted by the Departments concerned.
"Last date for submission of application for Common Admission Test for admission to various academic programmes of Cochin University of Science and Technology for the Academic year 2021-22 is extended up to 15th April 2021 with a late fee of Rs.100/-. Applications are to be submitted online. There is no change in the pre-published deadline for registration in respect of M.Tech, MBA and PhD. Programmes", an official notice reads.
According to the IMU University tentative schedule, the Common Admission Test of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is scheduled to be conducted on 12th, 13th and 14th of June 2021. The examination will be held following the social distancing and Covid protocol. Common Admission Test 2021 will be held in two successive shifts.
