Bihar State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has said that the board exams for Class 12 students should be conducted, and not cancelled. The Minister also hinted of taking exams in online mode.
"CBSE board exams should be conducted as it plays a vital role in a student's life", Mr Chaudhary said while interacting with the media personnel amid an ongoing tussle to hold or cancel the class 12th board exams amid warning Covid19 situation.
Expressing concern on conducting offline exams amid ongoing situation due to the Covid19 pandemic he said that CBSE may conduct board examinations in online mode.
He further said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) should also announce a tentative date sheet for the exams. "A tentative date should be announced by the CBSE. There is also an option of online examination", Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary told news agency ANI.

Minister had attended the high level meeting chaired by the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday to hold deliberation on board and competitive exams. However the final decision on Class 12 board exams is expected to be taken by 1st June by the centre.
Several stated inlcuding Haryana, Gujarat and Jharkhand have expressed willingness to hold board exams for Class 12 students. On the other Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia asked the centre govt to vaccinate all the students of Class 12th before holding the board exams.
