Amid violence in several parts of North East Delhi, CBSE has postponed Class 10th / 12th Board Exams 2020. CBSE Board Examinations of 86 centres have been postponed of scheduled 26 February 2020. CBSE releasing official Exam postpone notice at cbse.nic.in intimated that Class 10th and Class 12th Board examinations are postponed of 26/02/2020 with immediate effect. Releasing notice on Tuesday CBSE Board amid violence in North-East (NE) Delhi, on Delhi High Court order postponed the Board exams. Delhi High Court on Wednesday again said that Board Examinations for Class 10 and 12 students of North East Delhi (86 centres), need to be informed about the new exam dates or schedule in one notice for the next 10-15 days and not in parts. Delhi High Court Justice Rajiv Shakdher said the situation in NE Delhi is getting worse and there have been more deaths and, therefore, the Central Board CBSE needs to take a call for the next 10-15 days.
The court asked the CBSE Board to come with instructions on a long-term plan at 2.15 pm on Wednesday. CBSE has postponed the Board exams 2020 of scheduled 26 February dated at 86 exam centres in NE Delhi. The postpone exam notice released by Board after the Delhi High Court asked the Board to take decision immediately on rescheduling Wednesday's board exam for X & XII classes.
Keeping safety of children in view CBSE Board on Tuesday postponed Board Examinations of Class 10th & Class 12th Arts/ Science/ Commerce in North-East Delhi. Releasing official postpone notice CBSE Board earlier scheduled 26 February 2020 (Wednesday) exam for Class 10 and 12 have been postponed.
CBSE has postponed board exams scheduled at 86 centres of north east Delhi on February 26. The decision by the Board comes after the Delhi High Court Justice Rajiv Shakdher asked the CBSE to take the decision at the earliest over violence situation in part of Delhi.

Earlier Due to Delhi Violence for last 2-3 days violence in some parts of north-east Delhi has erupted over Citizenship Amendment Act CAA. So far 12 lives have been lost in Delhi violence as per media reports.
CBSE North East Delhi New Exam Dates
Taking cognizance of the High Court notice and Directorate of Education, Govt of Delhi to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents, CBSE Board has postponed several subject exams scheduled for 26 February 2020 in North East Part of Delhi (86 Exam centres only). New Exam dates for Board Class 10/ 12th Exams are expected as soon normalcy situation take place in region. Likely in March 1st Week exams can be expected.

CBSE Schools to remain Close in NE Delhi
Recently on Tuesday Delhi education minister Manish Sisodia had requested the Board to postpone Board exam in view of the deadly clashes in the national capital's northeast. Schools in violence-affected Northeast Delhi will remain closed on 26 Feb. Internal exams have been postponed. CBSE is also requested to postpone tomorrow's board exam, Deputy Manish Sisodia tweeted yesterday.
Following Subjects Class 12th Board exams are postponed by CBSE board.
