The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a clarification statement on CTET exam date. The clarification comes aside of a fake news circulating on social-media over November 5, as examination date. CBSE in its statement says "The news being circulated that the CTET 2020 exam will be conducted on November 5 is completely fake. The CTET exam dates have not been decided by the authorities yet and will be intimated when situation is more conducive", Board notice reads.
Answering the question on 5 November as CTET Exam date, CBSE says that "the message claiming CBSE would conduct CTET exam on 5 November, is fake". Refuting the claims laid down in the viral message on CBSE CTET exam date, Board says that the next date of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination will be intimated when situation is more conducive to the examination.
A message has gone viral on the social-media, which attracted Board's attention, It is again clarified that CBSE has not yet announced the new date for the 14th edition of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).
Central Board has postponed the CTET examination to a new date, yet to be decided. The examination was proposed on 5 July 2020, which was postponed due to Covid-19. Through the official notice dated 25, June 2020, CBSE asks candidates to visit the website ctet.nic.in for the exam date and other updates.
