CBSE 12th Result 2021 by 31st July, Students Free to take Improvement Exams, Decision likely on Monday

A Supreme Court hearing on pleas regarding Class 12 result evaluation criteria, has been adjourned till Monday. CBSE and ICSE are free to notify the final scheme on the next date of hearing.

Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing till Monday. Earlier, hearing the pleas related to preparation of class 12 result 2021, Supreme Court in its order said that students who want to appear for improvisation of marks, can do so. "Boards have to take care of the students who want to appear. No prejudice will be caused to students who want to appear, the SC said in its order.

Supreme Court further said that CBSE and ICSE are free to notify the final scheme howsoever it may wish to do so and inform us on the next date of hearing.

Earlier, a CBSE representative said that Class 12 result to be assessed based on performance in Class 10 (30%weightage), Class 11 (30% weightage) And Class 12 (40%). "CBSE Class 12 result 2021 will be announced by 31st July", board representative added.

Supreme Court also asked central and state boards to include provision for dispute resolution in case students want correction of final result declared.

ICSE representative on assessment of Class 12 result said that the average of last 6 years would be considered by the Council.

“We have taken marks from class 10 board, project and practical works, performance in school examination and we have taken the best marks. We have taken average from past six years and not three years like CBSE,” ICSE representative said in SC.
