Cancel REET, SI, And JEN Exams Students Demand Amid Irregularities; Gather State-Wide Support

Thousands of candidates from Rajasthan taking on Twitter demand authorities to cancel the Sub-Inspector, REET and JEN exams which were reportedly found leaked. Whether the exams would be cancelled or not, the possibilities are hereby explained.

Thousands of candidates from Rajasthan taking on Twitter demand the concerned authorities to cancel the Sub-Inspector (SI), Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Junior Engineer (JEN) exams which were reportedly found leaked. The candidates on Friday staged a protest against the state government in Jaipur. They were joined by the former state cabinet minister and supported by thousands of aspirants on social-media.

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, protesting candidates launched twitter trends with #SystemWeakPaperLeak and #Cancel_REET_SI_JEN. In addition, they targetted the state education minister Govind Singh Dotsara and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for not taking any action. Aside of it, a section of students demand state government for CBI inquiry in the matter.

Earlier, Septemnber 12, 2021 held Junior Engineer exam for 533 posts was found leaked. The candidates who appear for the exam alleged the exam conducting authorites for irregularities.

Similarly, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducted SI exam was also found leaked. The exam took place from September 13 to 15. It was reported that a video from the inside an exam centre went viral claiming the omr-sheet went viral on social media. Here is what students say-

Vibhash Kr a student writes, "Every time an exam gets leaked. It is a serious concern. Due to weak laws against the culprites of paper leak, they have no fear to practice these irregularities. This is against the future of students".

Dr Kirodi Lal Meena, Ex Rajasthan Cabinet Minister shared the stage with the students protesting against the authorites and demanding cancellation of the examination.

In addition to that, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vashundra Raje also targetted on present state government for irregularities in the examination. Taking to her official twitter handle she writes, "Not only REET, but also in JEN, RAS, and SI the corruption in several government exams have been highlighted. This proves that the Congress government is saling the state jobs".

Apart from it, any official update regarding the cancellation or re-conduct of SI exam has not been made so far. Media reports suggest that there are higher possibilities, especially after the state-wide protest that a serious action be taken by the state government.
