Bihar Public Service Commission on Sunday, December 27 conducts 66th Prelims examination at exam centres in 35 districts. The candidates appear for the BPSC 66th Pre examination staged a protest at an examination centre in Aurangabad district of Bihar district. Candidates lodged the protest over an alleged paper leak in the examination that happened on Sunday.
According to the Aurangabad District Commissioner Saurabh Jorawal, students staged the protest after the seal of the Sunday held question paper was allegedly broken before the distribution of the paper. “There’re eighteen centres in the Aurangabad district. At one centre students alleged that seal of the question paper was broken. We tried to pacify the protesting students but when they did not listen. We have asked them to give a written complaint. We’re probing the matter,” said the Jorawal.
Further explaining about the alleged paper leak, DM has said that a committee has been formed under Additional District Magistrate (ADM) to look into the matter. "Administration has asked the exam centre to take charge to submit a detailed report about the matter", he added.
Will Paper be cancelled? On being asked whether the paper be cancelled, District Commissioner Saurabh Jorawal replied, "The cancellation of the examination is not under my jurisdiction, i will forward the report of his investigation to the higher authorities".
BPSC 66th CCE exam was held in single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm at exam centre in 35 districts of Bihar. Commission revised the Bihar 66th Combined Competitive Examination on 27th December for the recruitment against 564 posts, as the vacancies revised releasing an official notice.
