Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday hailed the HSSC, HPSC for their efforts in recruiting 70k youths in last five years. CM Khattar also exhorted the recruitment agencies for all-out efforts to make the selection process more transparent. Speaking on the occasion in presence of UPSC Chairman & other Commissioners CM Manohar Lal Khattar brought up the data of Haryana State and said, due to Haryana Government’s efforts in last five years 70k youths have been recruited and Commissions have played significant role in fair conduct of the exams in State.
CM Khattar said when BJP Government came in power in 2014 there was a need for these agencies to bring about effective changes in their system, keeping in view the changing times. And in last five years result of the transparent recruitment policy adopted by the current state government, around 70K candidates were being selected in Haryana government jobs in a fair manner, without any irregularities.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar during conclave praised the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for adopting a flawless system in recruitment in state. CM Khattar said in last 5 years more than 70 thousands youths were provided the Government Jobs in Haryana state quite fairly.
Recalling the previous situation in State CM added that most of the recruitment made during the previous regimes were facing litigations. In contrary to the previous regimes we brought the transparent recruitment policy and under the policy around 70k candidates were being selected in Haryana government jobs in a fair manner, without any irregularities.

Haryana CM on March 13, informed that in 5 years of first term of his Government HPSC and HSSC Commissions have done brilliant in last 5 Yrs. Khattar congratulated the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for adopting fair exam policy. The BJP leader said his government was continuously working towards building a transparent system of recruitment in Haryana.
Adding to his speech the Chief Minister said it was the result of the atmosphere created by BJP government that the percentage of candidates from the state passing prestigious NEET, JEE and other engineering examinations has been continuously increasing year by year.
He said though population wise Haryana was comparatively a small state, yet, on an average, 40 candidates are clearing the IAS exam (from the state) every year.
Hailing the contribution of recruitment agencies, including the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), in selecting meritorious candidates, Khattar said their work was like that of a jeweler who had to choose the best gems. It is for the first time that the state government has eliminated the interview process.
Apart from this, present Haryana Government are also going to implement another reform under which the names of only those HCS or Class-1 officers would be sent to the UPSC for selection as IAS officers, who would clear the written examination to be conducted by the HPSC, he said.
