Delhi’s Seelampur Protest over CAA turned Violent! Rioters vandalized Property & Vehicles

In Delhi’s Seelampur area CAA Protesters demonstrated the violent protest and clashed around 1 pm on Tuesday. In Afternoon many protesters were demonstrating their Protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act recently passed in Rajya Sabha. People having tricolor in their hands were seen demanding the removal of the new citizenship law or CAA. The performance of protesters in Seelampur soon took a fierce look & huge gathering with violent hands. Meanwhile the stones pelting started.

After taking Seelampur protest over CAA in cognizance Delhi Police driven away the protesters into the streets. As ANI Reported- Delhi Police used tear gas shells to disperse the protesters after a clash broke out between Delhi Police and Protesters in Jafrabad area. During Seelampur Violent protest against Citizenship Amendment Act protesters also pelted stones and burnt the vehicles. Two buses & some Police vehicles including RAF Bus & Bikes were burnt by protesters.

Delhi Police later take away protesters from the Seelampur where a clash broke out between police and protesters. During CAA protest against Citizenship Amendment Act on Tuesday Delhi Police has also used tear gas shells to disperse the protesters. Delhi Metro DMRC closed the Metro Entry & Exit gates of Seelampur Metro station and later around 5 PM re-opened.

Later on Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police gave report to ANI on Seelampur incident. Joint Commissioner said- No bullet has been fired. Only tear gas shells used. Situation in Seelampur is under control now. Some police personnel are injured. 2 public transport buses, 1 Rapid Action Force bus & some bikes damaged during the protest.
