JNU Protest 11 November Live Updates: A scuffle has been broke out between the Delhi police and protesting students on November 11 around 3 PM. The JNU protest organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Students' Union (JNUSU) over fee hike and other demands became outrageous as seen in JNU video visuals. Delhi Police & JNU Protesters came face to face and outrageous situation existed- tweeted ANI. Protesters came outside the University Campus and looked furious towards the Delhi Police. As seen police and security personnel who were deployed at the AICTE auditorium in Vasant Kunj later succeed in dispersing the crowd.
Over the different issues including fee hike, JNUSU Students along with other active Unions protested outside the campus and later came out furious on Nov 11. Delhi Police to control the protesters outside the university campus used water cannons & barricades. JNUSU protest earlier began on Monday from outside the university campus as hundreds of students blocked the road near campus and raised slogans. Protesters using placards in their hands and called Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh a thief over the fee hike. Protesters on Monday amid heavy police presence, became furious and broke the bericades used by Delhi Police and came face to face in Afternoon.
JNU Student Union launched the massive protest on the university's Convocation Day, where Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu present at the venue as the. UHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, and Vice-Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar who attended the event have not been able to come out of the auditorium, following which the police requested the students to let them go. Delhi Police requested the students to let Ministers go. The students broke barricades and raised slogans with placards in their hands, and called Vice-Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar a thief over the fee hike by the university.
