The Central government will soon be realizing a financial package for infrastructure sector which will provide relief to it. The package is not just restricted to small industries but will cover the entire sector. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, had a discussion with the Finance Ministry Development Council via video conferencing.
I feel in 2-4 days a financial package can be announced to all sectors. The government is working at the highest level on this, Road Transport, Highways and MSME Minister Gadkari said in reply to a query whether the government was going to announce a financial package for relief to infrastructure sectors. He said. Let us hope it comes as early as possible.
'Government of India, Prime Minister’s Office and the Department of Economic Affairs are already working on a package, which includes not only the MSME but also the entire industry. All sectors of the economy being taken care of by a comprehensive package, being worked out in the government., Nitin Gadkari further said. Amid the lockdown, all the sectors are at a standstill as the operations had been shut down. In the wake of this, there have been increasing number of requests coming from infrastructure-related bodies, industry bodies and MSME sector for the release of a financial package to cover the losses incurred due to the nationwide lockdown.

The fiscal financial package will soon be announced which will help in containing the impact of coronavirus in the financially hit sectors and will help them to revive. Through the comprehensive package, all the sectors will be taken care of. 'But still if anywhere you have a problem, please be positive about this sector, because this is really on the verge of collapse,” Gadkari said
