Delhi Lockdown: CM Kejriwal enforces lockdown till 26th April as COVID-19 situation goes out of control

Delhi Lockdown Update: According to reports, Delhi Lockdown has been imposed by the local government from 26th April to next Monday morning in the midst of a record ascend in Covid-19 cases that have seriously stressed the city's assets and medical infrastructure.  All private workplaces will Work From Home and just government workplaces and Central administrations will be open, sources say.  

On Sunday, Delhi recorded the greatest hop in its day-by-day Coronavirus count with 25,462 new cases and a positivity of almost 30%, which implies pretty much every third subject being tested in the city is turning out COVID-19 positive. 

A weekend curfew was on the cards to "break the chain of transmission" however proceeding with infringement in regions of the city flagged that harsher advances were required. On Saturday, 24,375 Covid cases and 167 passings were accounted for around there.

Difficult Decision of complete Delhi Lockdown was supposedly taken when Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal earlier today.

As Per Delhi Lockdown guidelines, assembly rooms, cafés, shopping centers, rec centers, and spas were closed down in Delhi, and cinemas are permitted distinctly with 33% of their ability. All get-togethers - social, strict, or political - were prohibited. Mr. Kejriwal has been saying that the rising COVID-19 cases have been applying gigantic tension on the public capital's medical structure.
