Amid ongoing preparations for the upcoming Republic Day Parade at Rajpath, DMRC has released a statement today mentioning various changes in Delhi Metro operations for 26th January 2021. Central Secretariat station will only be used for interchange of passengers b/w Line 2 & Line 6. Entry & Exit at Patel Chowk & Lok Kalyan Marg Metro stations will remain closed from 08:45 am to 12 noon on January 26.

Services on HUDA City Centre-Samaypur Badli metro line will be partially regulated on Jan 26. Entry & Exit at Central Secretariat & Udyog Bhawan metro stations will remain closed till 12 noon on Republic Day: Delhi Metro.

All metro parking lots will also remain closed from 6 am on January 25 to 2 pm on January 26. This step has been taken as part of the security arrangements. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has stepped up security and intensified patrolling and verification drives across the national capital to thwart any untoward incidents ahead of Republic Day.
