Railway Recruitment Boards to determine cut-off marks for NTPC 1st stage computer-based exam to shortlist candidates for the next phase. All participating RRBs to decide minimum qualifying marks for Un-reserved and Reserved categories to shortlist candidates for the 2nd phase computer-based examination. The minimum marks to be decided by the respective board to declare the candidates qualify in NTPC CBT 1 exam, phase 1 of which has held from 28 December 2020 to 13 January 2021.
Only those candidates will be called for the 2nd stage Computer Based Test (CBT), who qualify the Stage 1 exam obtaining equal or higher than cut-off marks, to be decided by the concerned RRB. Out of total 100 Marks of CBT 1, minimum qualifying marks to be different for UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD categories.
According to the CEN 01/2019 detailed advertisement, RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 20 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration). The short listing for 2 nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT.
The short listing for Skill Tests such as Computer based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT.
RRB NTPC CBT 1 Expected Cutoff:

The normalized score of 1 st Stage CBT shall be used for short listing of candidates for 2 nd Stage CBT as per their merit.
