The University of Delhi (DU) will be releasing the special cut-off of participating colleges on its website du.ac.in on Monday. The cut-off list comprising course-wise criteria for admission on the vacant seats after 3 cut-off lists, to be displayed in the afternoon. Once it is published, aspirants who have enrolled for DU UG admissions 2021-22 can check the special cutoff of colleges including Kirorimal, Rajdhani, Hansraj College, Sri Venkateswara College, among others from UG portal admission.uod.ac.in.
Apart from the website, Delhi University notifies updates through its official Twitter handle @UnivofDelhi. The cut-off release time has not been updated by the administration, hence, the aspirants are asked to keep a check at the website du.ac.in.
The admissions under the merit list will take place on the vacant seats left after three successive cut-off lists are released by the participating colleges/ departments. According to the media reports, a total of 60,155 seats have already been filled.
Those aspirants who could not take the admissions in previous cut-off lists but possess the required percentage of marks also stand a chance to take admission through the special cut-off list.
Once the special cutoff is released by the colleges, candidates who match the criteria have to apply for admission against the special cut-off from October 26, 2021 (10:00 am) to October 27, 2021 (11:59 pm). Further, colleges have to complete the approvals for admission against the special cut-off till October 28, up to 5:00 pm.
According to the schedule, the last day of admission fee payment by candidates against the special cut-off list is October 29, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. It is also expected that the option to cancel the admission may open after admissions against the special cut-off are over.
Based on the seats remaining vacant after this list, the varsity will display its fourth cut-off list on October 30. There will be a total of five cut-off lists this year. Thereafter, admissions against the special drive on vacant seats to commence. In case vacant seats are left further merit lists may be announced by the University of Delhi.
