DU UG Admission 2020: Delhi University has displayed the 'vacant seat after 5th Cut-off' at UG Admission portal. A list carrying college wise vacant seats for different categories has been displayed at the du.ac.in. Applicants desirous to take admission into University of Delhi can have a look at the vacant seats displayed for the UG merit based courses offered including BA (prog), B.A (Hons) B.Com and B.Sc disciplines.
The list comprises of category wise availability of vacant seats in respective course and college. The last cut-off announced by the constituent colleges, is also displayed alongside the of data. Admissions on the vacant seats will take place through Special Cut-off list, University says. Students who have not secured admissions in 5 lists, are waiting for the special-cutoff list along with the candidates applied under ECA/ Sports quota and Entrance based courses.
Delhi University has postponed the display of Spot admissions under Special Cut-off list. Taking to its official website du.ac.in, DU on Monday postponed the Special Cut-off 2020 for Merit based admissions and Entrance based programmes, after several officers tested Covid19 positive.
University shall display special Cut-off list 2020 for the Undergraduate merit based admissions (B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc courses). It is expected that after finalizing the schedule for the admissions under Sports-Quota, EWS, and Entrance based admissions Delhi University shall release Special Cut-off in due course.
For the Under-Graduate admission for the academic session 2020-21 University of Delhi releasing the five Cut-off lists has closed the admissions. However, after the five lists, seats are left vacant in different colleges and courses. For facilitating admissions on 70,000 seats in 51 constituent collleges, DU has decided to display Special list to fill the vacant seats. For the Sports-quota admissions students eligibile for Admission under ECA and Sports Quota in different courses shall be required to represent their qualifying exam documents and Physical Fitness Certificates (Self-Declared CoViD 2020 Immune) for appearing in the Physical Trials. The Students declared successful in Trial subject to satisfactory Document Verification, will have to submit Admission fee for the particular course admission.
