TN NEET (UG) 2020 Counseling: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released on 16th November 2020 Tamil Nadu NEET (UG) 2020 Rank List displaying therein the Candidate securing Merit Position in TN NEET (UG) 2020, hence, eligible for appearing in Counseling involving Document Verification. Admission into Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae / Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) shall remain strictly based on the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2020.
The National Testing Agency will tentative declare before the 22nd of November 2020 Counseling Schedule in reference to Admission on Preferential Basis (7.5 Percentage) (as per the Tamil Nadu Admission to Under Graduate Courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy on Preferential basis to the Students of the Government Schools Act, 2020 (Tamil Nadu Act No.34 / 2020) to the Government School Students Counselling would be done ahead of the General Category.
Special Category (Children of Ex-Servicemen, Eminent Sports Person and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) and Admission on Preferential Basis (7.5 Percentage) (as per the Tamil Nadu Admission to Under Graduate Courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy on preferential basis to students of Government schools Act 2020 (Tamil Nadu Act No.34 of 2020) to the Government School students counselling will be done ahead of the General Category.
Admission into MBBS / BDS Degree Courses shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET–UG 2020). The All India NEET (UG) 2020 Candidates found Eligible for Admission into the candidates must appear with the Documents prescribed for verification.
The NTA will likely declare before the 22nd Date of November 2020 Counseling Schedule for the Candidates.
The National Testing Agency declared All India Merit List of Successful Candidates in the TN NEET (UG) 2020 on the basis of the Eligibility Criteria provided by the National Medical Commission (erstwhile Medical Council of India) and Dental Council of India (DCI) as given in erstwhile Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997 issued under Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and BDS Course Regulations, 2007 issued under the Dentists Act 1948).

The Candidates declared Successful subject to Document Verification for admission into MBBS / BDS Degree Courses for the Academic Session 2020-2021 in Tamil Nadu Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Government Erode Medical College and Hospital, Perundurai, Erode, Government seats in Self-Financing Medical / Dental Colleges affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Rajah Muthiah Medical / Dental College affiliated to the Annamalai University, Chidambaram and ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR, K.K.Nagar, Chennai. Counseling Notification shall be published in both Websites: www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org and the candidates would be able to gain access to the same following announcement in this regard.
