On Monday, The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) would be declaring the third Counselling round result. Authority displaying the seats filled in first two rounds, on October 26 to declare the the results for the third round of JoSAA Counselling 2020. Students who have registered for the JoSAA counselling 2020 can check the 3rd round result at josaa.nic.in
As per the schedule, JOSAA Authority displays on Oct 26, 2020 at 10:00 am the data on available and filled seats in participating Institutes. Following the same, Authority would display 3rd round results at 5:00 pm in evening. Candidates can check the availability of third round results at website of the JoSAA Counselling portal.
College/ Institute allotted to the candidate along with the course/ stream offered among the Choices filled by the candidate, to be displayed in the JoSAA counselling result at josaa.nic.in. Seat Allocation (Round 3) listed candidates, will be called for the Online Reporting. Online reporting fee payment / document upload / response by candidate to query (if required) for the Round 3 to take place from 27 to 28 October 2020 by 17:00.
Last date to respond to query for the round 3 would be Oct 29, 2020 by 17:00 hours. Students will be able to Withdraw their seat / Exit from seat allocation process (Round 3) from Oct 27 – Oct 29, 2020.
After the seat has been allotted to a candidate, he/ she is required to Log-in to their account on JOSAA-2020 portal to accept the allotted seat and strictly follow the JoSAA-2020 schedule for subsequent activities. They are also advised to start the process at earliest without waiting for the last day of scheduled deadline in order to avoid the last minute hassle. Based on candidate’s rank, his/her category and choices of programs, he/she has been provisionally allotted a seat in the academic program and Institute shown in his/ her log-in.

Document verification and resolution of query responses by IITs/NIT+ Institutes will proceed in parallel of 3rd round of Counselling. To accept allotted seats (and continue to be a part of JoSAA-2020 till the final round of seat allocation), candidates must upload ALL required documents and must pay seat acceptance fee as per the details provided at josaa.nic.in.
Candidate is required to Upload the (applicable) documents as per list of documents given in Business Rule.

ii. Class XII Mark sheet/ State of Eligibility Proof
iii. Category Certificate (EWS/ OBC-NCL, SC/ ST) if applicable
iv. PwD certificate if applicable
v. Medical Certificate
vi. OCI/ PIO card if applicable
vii. Passport/ Citizenship Certificate If applicable
viii. Crossed Bank Cheque/Photocopy of Passbook/Screenshot of Online account And
ix. DS certificate if applicable.
