Haryana College Admission 2020: Open Counselling 1st Merit List released, A Report

Department of Higher Education, Haryana is all set to begin Open Physical Counselling towards UG Admissions 2020-21. Participating Colleges are on the verge to release Open Counselling Merit list, Waiting list at respective college website and notice board. Department marks the 28th of October as the Admission beginning date for the Open Physical Counselling (OPC). Admissions under OPC to close on November 2, 2020. 

As DHE Haryana concludes the registration for the Open Physical Counselling on October 26, at dheadmissions.nic.in, participating Colleges are about to start releasing Physical Counselling 1st waiting list from 27 Oct, 2020 (Tuesday). Those students who could not participate/ listed in the DHE Admission first and second merit list, are having the chances to take admission through Open Physical Counselling.

Waiting list to be displayed at respective College website/ DHE Admission portal and students named in the list will be able to appear for the Physical Counselling at respective college premise for the seat allocation.

As per the schedule, Open Counselling Merit list will be displayed on October 28, 2020 and admissions into Colleges to take place from 28th October to 2nd November 2020. For details, candidates are asked to contact the respective college.

DHE Haryana UG admission Portal 2020-21 also carries details in regards to the open counselling 2020. As per the press release Jat College, Hisar has facilitated Google Form for the Open Counselling to avoid the students' rush at the College premise for the Open Counselling.

Earlier, Department had released the first merit list on October 1, 2020 and admissions concluded on October 8. The second merit list was published on October 11, 2020 followed by display of vacant seats on October 16.

October 28, 2020-  Open Physical Counselling at Colleges for remaining vacant seats to take place from 28th October (Wednesday) to 02th November (Monday).

Oct 27, 2020- Haryana Colleges' Physical Open Counselling for UG admissions has started from 28.10.2020 in colleges. Candidates need to approach to their interested college with all documents.

Oct 27, 2020- Documents Required at the time of Open Counselling:

List of Documents to be produced by the applicant: Passport size photograph, Scanned copy of signature, Matric (10th) Marksheet, 10+2 Marksheet, Migration Certificate (required in case of other than Haryana School Education Board), Character Certificate, NCC/ NSS/ Sports Certificate for weightage, wherever applicable, Bonafide Resident of Haryana Certificate, if applicable, Income Certificate required for claiming benefits of EWS or SC / BC Scholarships , if applicable, Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable, Gap Year Affidavit, if applicable. Name of the applicant will appear in the Merit List after verification of documents as per eligibility/ merit.

Only the registered candidates will be considered for the Open Physical Counselling waiting cum merit list. Students named in the Watiting/ Merit lists need to visit the respective College for the Seat allotment. Colleges reserves the right to allocate seats to the listed candidates.
