'Globalization and Self-Reliance both are equally important', PM Modi says at IIT Delhi's 51th Convocation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed the students graduating from the IIT Delhi. Speaking on the occassion of IIT Delhi's 51th Convocation, Prime Minister says that Globalization and Self-Reliance both are equally important and Covid-19 pandemic has taught us.

IIT Delhi's 51st Convocation: The Covid pandemic has taught a lesson to the world that globalisation is important but being self-reliant is also necessary, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. Attending the 51th convocation of IIT Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hails graduating IIT Delhi students. The country will give you ease of doing business and you work on providing ease of living to countrymen, PM Modi addressed students in the presence of Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.

Speaking on the Covid-19 PM says that the pandemic has taught us a lot. "It has taught us that globalisation is essential but at the same time, self-reliance is equally important". 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat' drive is about new opportunities for our youth so that they can showcase their inventions freely, PM Modi added.

Prime Minister in the virtual conference says to IIT Delhi graduating students that Today, understanding your needs in the country and future needs, decisions are being taken one after the other, old rules are being changed. "I think that the rules of the last century cannot determine the future of the next century", PM Modi added.

COVID-19 has taught the world one more thing. Globalisation is important but along with it self-reliance is also important. Today, India is committed to provide its youngsters the 'Ease of Doing Business' so that they can bring a change in the lives of crores of Indians through innovations. Country will give you ease of doing business and you work on providing ease of living to countrymen, PM Modi tells graduating IIT students.

"In the present situation amid COVID-19 pandemic, technology has played the most significant role. It has changed the way things are being conducted today. Virtual reality is becoming the working reality now. Technology has made last mile delivery of services efficient and reduced scope of corruption", Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during his speech at the 51st Annual Convocation of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
