Samantha Prabhu’s action thriller film ‘Yashoda’ had a generous start on its opening day at the box office. This Telegu film billed as pan India releases and earned about INR 3 Crores across India and INR 5.6 crores globally on its opening day.  

Though it's not a huge number, however generous than some recent action films ‘The Ghost’ starring Nagarjuna.

‘Yashoda’ was made on a budget of around INR 30-35 crores, and the movie received much interest since the day of its announcement.  

Positively, received a good response on its first and gross INR 5.6 crores globally. Till its 11 days of run-on at the box office, it earned INR 18.2 Cr India net.  

The response to the movie was well on the 2nd weekend, though gradually earning generously about INR 0.60 Cr on Monday and estimated to earn INR 0.40 Cr approx. on Tuesday.

The occupancy rate for Telegu morning shows today is about 8.98% and the 18.17% occupancy rate for Tamil occupancy at the theatres.
