Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan after contributed Rs 55 lakhs to PM Cares Fund and CM Relief fund has now pledged to provide free meals to the frontline workers, doctors, and medical staff. Along with the healthcare workers, the actor has also committed to providing food to the poor people for a week who are without home or jobs. Varun Dhawan has also come forward to help the country struggling with the coronavirus crisis. He has taken up the task of arranging food for the needy and health workers. Varun gave this information by writing a post on Instagram.
Varun wrote, 'With each passing day in lockdown I worry about people who don't have a home to live in this difficult time. In such a situation, I have pledged to help the poor who are homeless and unemployed. I also have a lot of respect for those people who are doing their duty by coming out of their house even at such a time and coming forward. I also undertake to deliver food to the doctors and medical staff working in the hospital. The entire catering system will be looked after by the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. This is a small step, but during such a tragedy, every small step will work as a big relief, I will continue to do whatever happens.
