Luv Ranjan the fame of Pyar Ka Punchnama, had once announced that he will come out with a new project with a unique Jodi of B-town which is never seen before in a romantic genre film. 

On 13th December 2022, he shared the poster of TJMM featuring the title of Ranbir-Shraddha Kapoor Movie with a twist for the fans.

Social media was buzzed with the twist, as the actors and director shared the poster but didn’t reveal the title of the film and making the fans guess it 

On 14th December 2022, the makers shared the teaser on YouTube, unveiling the title of Ranbir-Shraddha Kapoor Movie 'Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar'.

Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar that is now slated to release on the occasion of Holi, March 8, 2023, faced multiple production delays due to the pandemic and an unfortunate blaze on the sets which led to huge losses for the producers.

Due to the title of Ranbir-Shraddha Kapoor, Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar, fans seem to laugh out loud, however, director Luv Ranjan who is known for films like Pyar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2, also Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety earned lots of praise for its uniqueness of title and its solid fun-loving storylines too.
