A young student of JNU named Krishna pandit has been made to believe that his parents died in an accident, it has been told by his grandfather Pushkar Nath (Anupam Kher). A professor portrayed by Pallavi Joshi has made a huge impact on that young boy Krishna regarding the exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. It was considered that in the exodus many Hindu Kashmiri families were killed, children were being kidnapped and women were assaulted with lots more turmoils and sufferings of pain in every aspect.
