The Immortal Ashwatthama: Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan to begin Shoot in Ukraine in August

Vicky Kaushal, director Aditya Dhar, and producer Ronnie Screwvala will reunite for 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' after their previous movie 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. In addition to this, Sara Ali Khan will also be joining the team.

According to recent reports, actor Vicky Kaushal, actress Sara Ali Khan, director Aditya Dhar & producer Ronnie Screwala are scheduled to start the shoot of their upcoming action movie 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' in August. 

As per reports, The shooting for the 'The Immortal Ashwatthama'  will take place in Ukraine, and action scenes will be shot there. According to a source, ''The first schedule of the film will begin in Ukraine, after which it will be shot at other multiple international locations."

He further added, "Aditya is currently in the stage of finalizing his other shooting spots. Meanwhile, Vicky has started prepping for the film, and Sara will begin with her preparations in April"

In addition to this, Sara Ali Khan will be seen in some hardcore action sequences in the movie and will learn a few forms of martial arts, including MMA. Vicky too will be a part of these sessions, and their training is expected to go on for three months. He will be training in archery, sword-fighting, and spear-fighting. 

The Immortal Ashwatthama is one of the most anticipated upcoming Hindi Language films. The movie will be based on the story of the famous Mahabharata character 'Ashwathama' who is the son of Guru Drona and the grandson of the sage Bharadwaja.

Ashvatthama is believed to be a Maharathi who fought on the Kaurava side against the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War. He became a Chiranjivi (immortal) due to a curse given to him by Krishna.
