He fought the Battle of Sinhagad against Udaybhan Singh Rathod (Saif Ali Khan). Kajol is seen in the role of Tanhaji's wife Savitribai Malusare. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior had an overall 48.32% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

The Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer is expected to reportedly show a growth on Saturday, especially in the multiplexes of Maharashtra. 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' marks Ajay's 100th film in Bollywood. The movie is based on the life of Tanhaji Malusare, a warrior and military leader in the army of Shivaji Maharaj. Saif plays the character of Udaybhan Rathod in the film.
