On this day in 2020, after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the issue that first came to the fore was that of nepotism. Sushant's fans also felt that some makers and actors of the film industry used to conspire against him and due to being outside, he could not get films.
The suspicion of the fans that he was suffering the pain of being an outsider in the industry became more confirmed when they caught sight of a social media comment by Sushant.
Even a year after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the fans are emotional for him, the reason for this is Sushant's staying connected with his fans. Actually, Sushant used to reply to the fans on his post, a similar incident happened in which Sushant told his fans that please go to see my film, otherwise I will be thrown out of Bollywood.
When Dil Bechara was about to release, a fan of Sushant wrote, 'Oh no. You're going to die in this movie too. I won't go to see it. This will be the last thing I want to see on the big screen. You have the biggest heart in the industry. People like you should always be alive.'
Sushant had given a heartwarming reply to this fan's comment. He said 'I don't have a godfather.'
He wrote, "Hey but if you don't go to see the film, they will throw me out of Bollywood. I don't have a godfather. I have considered you all as my godfather. Go watch it just because if you want me to stay in Bollywood, much love to you."
This statement by Sushant Singh stills haunts his many fans till date and it is one of the reasons the large chunk of people in India now see Bollywood in bad taste.
